Adventure into the Abyss

Once upon a time, my friends and I, went on an adventure into this place they call, The Great Abyss. Getting myself prepared for events that were in the near future, we awoke early morning. At about three o'clock AM the quest began. Our "super challenge" as the group called it. The leader ,named Pablo, told us taking knives along was imperative. The health of everyone would be threatened if you didn't bring one. A wild animal might devour your whole entire body. Inside, the area , darkness reigned supreme. Forgetting to take flashlights, sight was a sense not used so the platoon fell down a giant hole. The platoon died.

First snow

Its the first real snow of the year
filling people with joy

Which button am I?

This object possesses two sides, almost as it is two conjoined twins with totally different faces. One face is like a piece of chipped bark after a tree has been dismembered from its trunk. It still holds the color of he tree it once was part of. Like it’s trying to keep its journey through life frozen in time forever, the indents it has gained over time are still visible, like a wise old man’s wrinkles. The other face is the shade of the milky caramel when you break a Milky Way bar in half. It imitates the texture of a brand new wooden desk. Nice and smooth. The shape of these two conjoined twins is like the converse sign on a pair high top chucks, but it has the thickness of a turtleneck sweater, just waiting to be worn. They can’t be worn though. They have been torn away from their companion. They would usually be found on a dark colored button up coat, but something has happened. They just sit their, no moving, and alone.

A Visit To The NAPPERS Hotel

(four character story)
Lucus Montana was a millionaire from Missouri. He decided to go on vacation on a trip around the World. He was now in Washington where his Half brother, Jack Stans, lived. Lucus stopped at a hotel near his brother residence. The hotel was called The NAPPERS. It looked like a well-kept place but the manager at the front desk was very strange.(picture to the right) He always had a nervous expression on his face at all times of the day.
When it was Lucus’s turn to check in, the man said” hello my name is Peter Downs. I am the hotel manager here…” He paused for a second. “Are you a cop”, he asked. That seemed very weird to Lucus but he kindly said no and went up to his room.
When he was settled down and unpacked he decided to call his brother so they could meet up. His brother sounded very different on the phone. Usually he would be surprised his brother was in town, this time he showed no emotion at all. Something was clearly wrong. They decided to meet up at a local restaurant.
When they both arrived, it was like they have not been away from each other at all. Lucus could still sense something was bothering Jack.
Lucus asked, “What’s wrong Jack, do you need something again?”
“Yeah, I need 15,000 dollars”, Jack said calmly.
“15,000 dollars, you still owe me 12,000 from last year”, Lucus screamed.
“But this time its different, I……”, Lucus interrupted him.
“I don’t care, you’ll never stop gambling. You need help. I’m not going to be your safety net anymore”, he yelled as he stormed out of the restaurant. What Lucus doesn’t realize is that this time it’s more serious and Jack’s girlfriend has been kidnapped and is being held hostage. If he doesn’t get the people their money, she will die.
When Lucus arrives back at his hotel, the manager isn’t at the front desk. He walks up the stairs to his room but down the hall he can hear screaming. It carries on for about a minute then all of a sudden it stops and the manager appears out of the room the screaming was coming from. The manager walks past Lucus and gives him an odd look. He decides to find out what the screaming was all about later that night.
When night comes he is ready to go. He tip toes down to the room. He presses his ear to he door and can hear a faint scream. He breaks down the door and inside tide up is his brothers girlfriend. He unties her and picks her up because she is weak but when he turns around the manager is standing there with a gun. He shoots them both in the head. Then he gets in his car and rides off. Jack hears about this incident on the news and commits suicide. They all meet up in heaven.

this week has been very weird and different because of the conclusion of the election. in lots of classes all we did was talk about the election.

'08 Election

for the first time in history, America has an African American president. He didn't win by a little margin but a large one. in states that looked like they were definitely for mc cain voted for obama surprisingly. change is definitely in the future.
